Perfectionism

I read a book recently, named Perfectionim: Theory, Reasearch and Treatment, written by some psychologists from Canada.
     I didn't realize perfectionism is likely the main reason why I felt unhappy very often in the past few years until I read first few pages of the book. Based on the theory, perfectionism has both positive and negative sides. Everyone needs perfectionism to achieve the fulfillment for our lives but it also could become a threat to mental health if we don't use it well.
     The book is so large that I need a whole week break in order to finish it. I hope I can get some time during the break, to really seriously study the book and find a strategy to deal with my perfectionism and the problems it brought to me.
